Our clients are in public life. Their strategy, their internal polling, their weaknesses and their timelines are the most sensitive information they hold. Our position on all of it is simple and absolute.
Client identity
We do not publish client names, constituencies or party affiliations. Not in case studies, not in credentials decks, not in conversation with prospects. Where we describe past work, it is described in terms that cannot identify the client. Verified references are provided only to shortlisted prospects, only with the prior written consent of the client concerned.
Political neutrality
CPSR INDIA holds no political affiliation and does not campaign for causes of its own. We are a professional services firm. We may be engaged by different parties in different contests, and we maintain strict information separation between mandates — separate teams, separate systems, separate access. We do not accept two mandates in the same contest.
Data handling
Voter records, survey responses, call centre logs and volunteer information are personal data and are treated accordingly: collected for a stated purpose, held on access-controlled systems, encrypted in transit and at rest, retained only for the engagement period plus any statutory requirement, and destroyed or returned on closure. Our handling is governed by applicable Indian data protection law and by the contractual terms of each engagement.
Lawful conduct
We work within the Model Code of Conduct and the directions of the Election Commission. We do not offer, and will not accept instructions involving, anything that seeks to interfere with the conduct of an election, to obtain information unlawfully, or to impersonate a person or an institution. Where a client’s instruction would cross that line, we say so and we decline it.
