Political Research & Intelligence

Where you actually stand — measured properly, reported honestly, updated while there is still time to act.

Every campaign has an internal view of how it is doing. It is usually optimistic, because the people who reach the candidate are the people who support him. Research replaces that view with a measured one — and the value of it is entirely in whether the sampling is honest and the reporting is candid. Both are our responsibility.

What we deliver

Baseline and tracking surveys

A number you can plan against.

Large-sample constituency surveys combining in-person interviews and digital questionnaires, weighted to the real demographic composition of the seat, covering name recognition, voting intention, issue priorities and the standing of every significant contender.

Opinion polls

A reliable read on a specific question.

Representative-sample polls on candidates, policies and local issues, with the sampling frame, method and margin of error disclosed in every report — so that you know how much weight the number will bear.

Strong and weak zone identification

Budget and manpower aimed where they change the result.

Geographic mapping that classifies every booth as safe, battleground or difficult, so effort stops going into lost causes and strongholds stop being taken for granted.

Real-time sentiment tracking

You learn about a problem in hours, not at the next survey.

Continuous monitoring of ground reports, local media and social conversation, so the impact of a speech, a rival’s move or an incident is visible immediately.

Opposition research and SWOT analysis

No surprises in a debate, and an argument ready for every attack.

Documented review of rivals’ public record, past statements, commitments made and not kept, and organisational strengths — assembled from public sources and field reporting, and used to prepare rather than to smear.

Post-poll booth-level intelligence

You know the likely result before the counting.

Structured exit feedback from every booth immediately after polling closes, giving an early read on outcome and on which booths performed against expectation.

Post-election analysis

The next campaign starts ahead.

Booth-by-booth analysis against the declared result, identifying where the machine worked, where it did not, and which segments moved — written as a working document for the next cycle.

How we run it

Every research report states its sample size, method, field dates and margin of error. Enumerators are trained and their work is back-checked by supervisor callback on a fixed percentage of interviews. Where a finding is uncomfortable, it appears in the summary, not in an annexure.

Frequently asked

How large a sample do you use?

It depends on the size of the constituency and the precision required. We propose a sample and a margin of error before fieldwork, and we do not reduce the sample after commissioning without telling you what it does to the confidence interval.

Can research be commissioned on its own?

Yes, and many clients start there — particularly those still deciding whether to contest. A baseline survey is a common first engagement and carries no obligation to continue.
